Justin Shepertycki

Justin Shepertycki

With a career spanning over 16 years, Justin has served as Principal Software Architect and Director of Software Development across a wide range of complex industries — including energy, aerospace manufacturing, food supply chain, agriculture, finance, health & wellness, and non-profit organizations.

His approach blends deep technical rigour with a genuine curiosity for the problem at hand. Justin is known for asking the right questions, mapping out nuance before a single line of code is written, and then executing with precision. It's this instinct for understanding — not just building — that has made him a trusted partner for organizations solving hard, specialized problems.

Outside of work, Justin is a dedicated husband and father, a dog dad to two, and a passionate musician. He believes strongly in the balance between craft and creativity, inside the codebase and out.

Michael Dryden

Michael Dryden

Mike has spent more than 19 years architecting and building software for Financial Services and AgriFoods — two industries where the stakes are high, the systems are complex, and the margin for error is slim. His focus on continuous learning, open-source contribution, and engineering best practices has driven successful legacy modernizations and production deployments across multiple enterprise environments.

He's deeply committed to writing software that lasts — not just software that ships. That means clean architecture, thoughtful iteration, and a belief that getting feedback early beats getting it right on the first try.

When he's not in the code, Mike is a dedicated father and husband, an avid sports enthusiast, and a strong advocate for open-source software and giving back to the developer community.

Why Third Version?

The name comes from something we've both learned the hard way across decades of building production software: great software is never finished on the first try.

We build with the long game in mind. The best tools aren't built in a lab - they’re built on the job site. We don’t disappear for six months to build a "perfect" system that doesn't fit your workflow. We get a working version into your hands quickly, listen to your feedback, and refine it until it’s the right tool for the next phase of your business.
